Day 1:  Airport Transfer
You will be met by our driver /guide at Entebbe International Airport on your arrival  flight who will drive you to Kampala the Capital City of Uganda. Check in at  hotel  in the city center dinner and overnight. BD

Day 2: Kampala  -Murchison Falls National Park.
Morning at 7.00am your driver/guide will pick you from  Kampala where you will start the drive to Murchison Falls National Park with lunch en route stopping at Masindi town. After lunch proceed to Murchison falls national park.
Arrive at Murchison Falls National Park  gate  and proceed to visit the top of the falls for a breathtaking sight of the raging Nile as it forces its way through a rocky gap barely six meters wide. This is the point where the Nile River explodes through a narrow gorge and cascades down to become a placid river. Enjoy nice views of the falls while taking photographs.

Murchison falls National Park covers 3,840-sq km and has recorded 76 mammal species and 450 bird species. The altitude is 619m at the delta and 1,292 at Rabongo Hill. The mean temperature is 29 ºC-high and 21 ºC-low.
After proceed to  check in your  Lodge    dinner and overnight .

 Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park.
Morning after an early breakfast  . Cross with ferry and drive in the northern bank of River Nile  start the day with an early morning game drive. You will most likely be able to view those animals that are unique to the African Savannah like giraffe, antelope, lion, elephant, hyena, buffalo  and the Uganda Kob and many more.
After  lunch you will take on a launch cruise on the NileRiver. The cruise takes you to the Bottom of the thundering falls where you will see huge crocodiles, schools of hippos, buffaloes, elephants and a variety of water birds like herons, cormorants, ducks, bee-eaters, kingfishers, skimmers, fish eagles and sometimes the rare shoebill. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnightat  the chosen facility as per day 1 (Full Board).

Day 4:Murchison Falls National Park – Fort Portal /Kasese
After breakfast, will depart for Fort Portal or Kasese . This is a day’s long drive and will be arriving for dinner time. Overnight.

RWENZORI – BUKURUNGU TRAIL with Margherita Peak (Exclusively mountain camping)

Day 5 of Day 1 Mountain hiking :
After breakfast start and checking your climbing equipment and other necessities you travel to mukorokimi RRHA office, the starting point to the Mountain, It is from here that you meet the Guides and porters that Escort you to the Higher peaks, This day you walk through Coffee plantations, homesteads, schools and interact with local Bakonzo people the inhabitants of the Rwenzori mountains to have a night in a community camp at the edge of the national park, it takes you between 2-3hours to reach the camp.

Day 6 of Day 2 mountain hiking: Rwigho Camp
After breakfast, take on the trail which bends west on the ridge overlooking the Kasuka and Isule valleys and onward to Kebitakuli for a rest while and take a breath and thereafter, hike through the montane rain forest overlooking bamboo forested valleys. Encounter plant species like the Disastairssi, Scadoxuscyrtanthiflorus, Impetiensapiculata and spot or hear calls of black and white colombus monkeys, The Rwenzori Turaco and other birds. On trail you will spot chimpanzee nests and droppings or hear their calls. The trail will lead you through the heather zone and reach Rwigho Camp for an overnight. It will take you only 5-6 hours.

Day 7 of Day 3 mountain hiking: Kambeho
After breakfast, the trail takes you through the heather trees (Ericathiasis) with lots of moss hanging over these trees. The is the heather zone with a lots of heather trees, scencio trees, alchemila, black berries, and many more plant species. While on trail you will be able to spot black and white Colobus monkeys, Varvet monkeys, sun birds, the Rwenzorituraco a rare beautiful bird in the park. On this day you will see lots of giant lobelias, everlasting flowers and rock shelters. Overnight at Kambeho Camp. This hike will take you 5 – 6 hrs with a stopover for a hot lunch at Mitiyighaghire.

Day 8 of Day 4 mountain hiking:  Lamia Camp
After breakfast, start with a climb along river Lhume, in the early morning hours of the day when still fresh and strong with urge to climb the only steep Mughuli bypass. As you think of slopping down to Lake Mughuli which is within MTN network coverage to give you a chance to call friends and family members about the beauty and experience encountered on the trail. There are several short peaks which one can easily climb depending upon what time you have arrived in the camp and how you feel. The vegetation along the Lake is so beautiful to catch up your eyes. Animals you might see along the trail are the Rwenzori red-duiker, rock and tree hyrax and wild pigs. Around the camp, you can have a self guided walk to explore the water falls. The approximate time taken from Kambeho to Mughuli Camp is about 6-7hrs hike with a stopover for a hot lunch at Mulhalhama resting view point.

Day 9 of Day 5 mountain hiking: Lake Bukurungu /bigo camp
This camp is set in the heart of the two mountains of the Portal Peaks and Mount Gessi; it is a relaxing point to acclimatize for those interested in climbing the Portal Peaks and Mount Gessi. Five hours from Mughuli camp takes you through a very gentle crossing passing the vegetation of the alchemila, several giant lobelia species and the wonderful and unknown leaf looking like human palm.  From Mughuli Camp to Bukurungu Camp will take you 5 – 6hrs.. On this day if the weather is clear, your eyes and hands on the camera will have all the main peaks of Edward on Mount Baker, Margherita and Alexadra on Mount Stanley, Vittorio Emanuela on Mount Speke, Kihuma on the Portal Peaks and Mount Gessi at glance if you want to climb Margherita then you will have overnight at Bigo camp.

Day 10 of Day 6 mountain hiking ; to Irene Lakes Camp
After a cup of coffee get set off to Irene Lakes camp through the beautiful valley filled with giant lobelias, giant heather trees, groundsels, helichrysum and lots of stunning water falls, Finally you find yourself along L.Bujuku a lake collecting its waters from the melting glaciers of Mt. Speke, Mt. Stanley and Mt. Baker. Having trailed a long side the lake, you will continue for a one hour and a half to reach Irene Lakes Camp.

Day 11 of Day 7 mountain hiking:to  Margherita to Bujuku Camp
Wake up at 4.30am early in the morning for a cup of coffee and thereafter, start the climb to the main Margherita peak summit 5109m the highest point in Uganda and third high mountain in Africa. While on top and assuming the weather is clear, you will be able to see the rest of the peaks on the Rwenzori Mountain range like Vittorio Emmanuelle on Mt. Speke, Edward on Mt. Baker, Mt. Albert and if the weather is good you opt to climbing all the twin peaks of Margarita and Alexandra all on Mt. Stanley. Though distance looks short but it can take you long hours to reach the summit due to fog and mist. After a good time, have a view of DR Congo. Be one of the people who have left their foot prints on top of the Mountains of the moon and confirm your arrival on this point with a breath taking and say yes I have made it. After your successful view and pictures, descend to Bujuku camp.

Day 12 of Day 8 mountain hiking :Nyabitaba camp
After a cup of coffee get set off down wards to Bujuku through the beautiful valley filled with giant lobelias, giant heather trees, groundsels, helichrysum and lots of stunning waterfalls, reach John Matte in just two hours, continue downwards through the Nyamuleju boggy areas, and reach Nyabitaba in 5-7hours.

Day 13 of Day 9 mountain hiking and Out
After breakfast start your descend to Nyakalenginjo along a forested ridge, pass through an elepant zone down wards to Mihunga Park gate marking the end an adventurous Rwenzori trek. Continue to your hotel in Kasese town for relaxation.

Continue to Queen Elizabeth and  Bwindi  National Gorilla tracking and Bunyonyi
Queen Elizabethpark is one of the most outstanding treasures of Uganda, and has been designated a Biosphere Reserve for Humanity under UNESCO auspices. It borders Lake George and Lake Edward as well as Kazinga Channel in the western area of the Great Western Rift Valley escarpment.

Day 14: Queen Elizabeth National park .
Early morning will carry out a game drive to see more animals that habit this park, that include predators –  lion, leopard and other game – elephant buffalo, hyena, antelopes etc. also will watch hundreds of different bird species. Over 500 bird species have been identified here, making it a Mecca for bird-watchers. They include the black bee–eater, 11 different species of kingfisher and several falcons, eagles and other raptors.  Queen Elizabeth National is one of the most outstanding treasures of Uganda, and has been designated a Biosphere Reserve for Humanity under UNESCO auspices. It borders on Lake George and Lake Edward as well as Kazinga Channel.

Then relax a bit and take on a 2-hour launch cruise at 3.00pm on the Kazinga channel. This waterway joins Lakes Edward and George and it is filled with schools of hippos, buffaloes with elephants at the banks. You are likely to meet grazing hippos, elephants, lions, spotted hyenas and leopards, bushbuck, waterbuck and stripped jackal, and of-course the several warthogs.Retire to the lodge for dinner and over night FB.

Day 15: Queen Elizabeth National park – Bwindi.
After breakfast you will be driven to Kyambura gorge for Chimpanzee tracking while on a nature walk. After  Kyambura gorge for a primate walk where your will see chimps and other primates e.g Columbus & velvet monkeys and baboons walk out of the gorge to  proceed to Bwindi after picnic lunch.

Then proceed to Bwindi National Park the home of Mountain Gorillas. It is estimated to half of the world’s surviving population of mountain gorillas –300 live within these boundaries shared by Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. The drive is long but enjoyable. Proceed south to Bwindi, viewing the terraced hills of Kigezi Highlands once known as Switzerland of Africa.

After picnic lunch will proceed to the southern part of the this park the Ishasha area famous for climbing lions .Where time allows will have an evening  drive looking for climbing lions and after proceed to Bwindi . Arrival at Buhomawill be in the evening. You will then settle in at  Buhoma  Community Camp. Dinner and overnight as you prepare for tomorrow’s event! FB

Day  16 : Gorilla Tracking Bwindi
Morning after breakfast with packed lunch, you will be  escorted to the starting point for briefing by your guide. You will be allocated guides to track gorillas with, and then will be off to begin your adventure. A briefing from your local guides and then it’s off! The time taken and the terrain varies (1- 8 hours) this depends on the movement of these gentle giants. The thrill of meeting face to face takes away the pain of some times long and arduous trek.  Each encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in delightfully playful manner.  After tracking will walk back to your lodge for overnight stay FB.

You will need to carry long pants like jean type, sturdy shoes to help you hiking steep and slippery slopes, long sleeved shirts and blouses to protect your bodies from thorns and itching plants. You may not rule out raining on you and at least a rain coat is needed to protect your bodies and any equipment carried along with like cameras. Also carry insect repellants and sun cream

Day 17: Bwindi–Bunyonyi.
Morning after breakfast with packed lunch  will be driven through back to Kabale for sight seeing and relaxing at lake Bunyonyi.Dinner and overnight.

Day 18: Bunyonyi.
Morning after breakfast with will go for boat ride on lake Bunyonyi exploring this hidden treasure for sightseeing  bird watching and community interaction, The rest of the day will be for relaxing at the lake beach side. Overnight.

Day 19 : Bunyony-Kampala/Airport.
Morning after breakfast withwill be driven back to Kampala. Will be stopping at  other points of interest as your driver guide will be  pointing out like the equator crossing. Proceed to  Kampala arriving in the evening. Will  be dropped at  your hotel in Kampala or at the airport END OF SAFARI WISH YOU AN ENJOYABLE AND PLEASANT SAFARI.
