From Kampala, head north through Masindi with their traditional farms and villages. Reach the Murchison Falls National Park. have your lunch en route and tour the top of the falls with amazing scenic viewpoints. Dinner and overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge/ Sambiya lodge

Set off on an early morning game drive. Your guide will help you to spot elephant, giraffe, water buffalo, Ugandan kob and lion. Butterflies are abundant. After a packed lunch you take a launch trip to the base of the majestic Murchison Falls. Here you will find abundant bird life and you will most likely see numerous wild animals on the banks.
Dinner and overnight

Depart early to the Fort Portal area. The drive is a long one going through some remote parts of the country and the road is equally not the best. Will arrive in the evening. This area, nestled in the Rwenzori Mountains, is the seat of the Toro kingdom. Lunch en route to Fort Portal. Dinner and overnight at Rwenzori View Guesthouse/ Fort Motel/Kyaninga Lodge

After yesterdays long drive, will start the day at your leisure. Will drive to Queen Elizabeth and arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park after lunch. Take a launch cruise up the Kizinga Channel between lakes Edward and George. Enjoy seeing wild animals on the banks and a wonderful variety of water birds, lion, hippo, Cape buffalo, Uganda kob and warthogs. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Hipo Hill lodge/Simba Safari Camp/ UWA Facility etc

Early morning for wildlife tour before sunrise game drive to see elephant and lion. After breakfast depart for the gorilla sanctuary in Bwindi . Packed lunch en route. Transit through the Kigezi highlands with terraced banana plantations on the steep slopes. Dinner and overnight in Bwindi impenetrable Buhoma Lodge/ Mahogany Springs Lodge/ Sliver Back Gorilla Lodge/  Engagi lodge / at Kitandara camp or community Camp. ( accommodation at times is determined by the secured gorilla permit location as will be staying near the gorilla location of gorillas to be trekked)

Rise early for gorilla trekking. The experienced ranger guides will brief you before the trek. Spend the day moving through dense forest in an exciting search for rare majestic mountain gorillas. Return to accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Return to Kampala, after an early breakfast, through the Kigezi highlands, the “Switzerland of Africa”. Lunch stop on the way. End of Safari.
